Isle of Skye trip info

Hi, me and my wife will arrive in Edinburgh Aug/19 afternoon and departure to London Aug/23 afternoon. If I take the Isle of Skye trip, do you think I'd take too short time in Edinburgh? Regarding the acomodations in Portree, do you have some hotels to recomend? Do you have an email to aks more questions? Best Regards |

Hi Jonas. Difficult question! You could easily spend a week in Edinburgh there is so much to see. If you have 2 half days and two evenings you will still be able to see quite a lot of the city centre as Edinburgh is quite small. You should definitely visit the castle and the Royal Mile which would take half a day and then after that there are many choices - even just walking around in the old and new towns will give you a great taste of the city.
For the accommodation in Portree we use a variety of hotels and B&Bs - we can book these for you or you can choose to book your own. Please just make sure its central - and and in Portree! Hope that helps
