Highland Explorer & Isle of Skye Tour (5day)

For many years my wife has paid for holidays abroad for the sun, sea, sand and all that but i am not one for sitting around and decided to get my own back and book a holiday with Rabbies for a scenic Scottish Highland tour. My wife and i were not disappointed.
We flew up to Edinburgh the day before and stayed in the Allison house Hotel whose owners were friendly and welcoming. This hotel was also used after the tour before flying back home.
We were to meet up with a Rabbies coach the following day, day one and met with the tour guide (Barney). He was friendly and put everyone at ease with his introductions and got everyone chatting as we had to introduce ourselves. This broke the ice nicely and the individuals then became a group as we all got on together for the rest of the tour really well.
The following five days days were made all the more enjoyable because we had some great weather, in fact sun all the way.
The guidance form Barney as well as his passionate knowledge of all things Scottish was nothing short of remarkable. I learned a great deal.
Lots of photo stops meant loads of photo memories to last us a life time.
The tour was flexible in that when we ran out of time one day to visit one spot we re-jigged the day by going somewhere else and payed a visit to the place we missed the next day.
Plenty of food stops with fantastic meals in beautiful surroundings and stunning scenery.
The transport we were taken on, on the tour with was very comfortable and luxurious, made all the more enjoyable by the professional driving from Barney always patient and courteous to other road users.
We will be visiting again in this way and with Rabbies.
