Amazing Trip: Nine days

We took the combined five day tour of Iona, Mull, and the Isle of Skye as well as the four day Orkneys tour. The small bus allowed for easy access to many out of the way spots. Our guides, Paul and Eddie, were knowledgable and accommodating. The scenery was stunning and we visited many out of the way places that I doubt we would have found on our own. We saw puffins, sampled whiskeys, picnicked in a fairy glen, ate Cullin skink and haggis, and explored Viking ruins. Everyone on the tour was friendly, and we often met for drinks and dinner at the end of the day. The accommodations organized by Rabbies were clean and welcoming with an excellent breakfast to start each day. We came away with a knowledge of the history of Scotland and a greater appreciation for our Scottish ancestry. The whole experience could not have been better. |
