Should i go up Scotland on 2/8 then travel down to London to catch my flight on 17/8
Or probably as below 2-3/8: London city 4-7/8: 4days isle of Skype and western highland tour 7-11/8: F&E in Edinburgh 11-15/8:York, dales, Lake District 5d tour 15/8: depart for Glasgow 17/8': depart for London heathrow airport.
Appreciate your kind assistance or recommendations and look forward for a wonderful, summer time with you all.

Hi Clare Your itinerary works fine but the 2nd, 3rd, 4th of August is a bank holiday weekend and travel and accommodation will be be very busy and expensive. It might be better to stay in London until the 4th. The 4 Day Isle of Skye tour on the 4th August is currently full anyway but we have a 3 Day Skye tour or a 5 day Orkney tour on the 5th. The Orkney tour is amazing! August in Edinburgh is Festival month so accommodation can be hard to find and more expensive than normal. Booking early is a good idea. But its a great time to visit the city and there is lots to see and do here. You can easily visit Glasgow as a day day trip (50 mins by train). The York dales and lake District trip on the 11th has seats available and is a lovely tour. If you want to get back to London quickly this tour can drop you at Penrith train station on the last day in time for a connecting service to London. Hope this helps Calum |
