Hello everybody,
My name is Sofia and i will be in Edinburgh on 25-31/10/2015. Me and my friend Maria are interested for two 1 Day tours with you for the days 26 and 27 of October, but we cannot decide which of them. It s the first time in Scotland so i hope that you can understand and help us to decide the best tours of this amazing country.
Thank you in advance... |

The West Highlands tour is my favorite one-day tour. I think you get a couple extra stops if you do it out of Glasgow instead of Edinburgh because Glasgow is closer to the area (less travel time). It's less than an hour's train ride from Edinburgh to Glasgow and the station is right next to the Rabbie's pick-up. That tour takes you into the Highlands and you get to see lochs, castles, Highlands, coastal towns and so so so much more. It's absolutely breathtaking and the scenery is very diverse. And since it's not too far away (like the Loch Ness tour is) you aren't rushing from stop to stop as much. Can't go wrong with any tour though! The St. Andrews tour out of Edinburgh was fun also and very different scenery than West Highlands. Good complementary tours. |

Hello Lisa, I am really thankful for your advise but do you mean this two tours: 1) From Glasgow: https://www.rabbies.com/tours_scotland_glasgow/loch_ness_glencoe_highlands_1_day_tour.asp?lng=en?lng=en 2) From Edinburgh: https://www.rabbies.com/tours_scotland_edinburgh/st_andrews_fishing_villages_fife_1_day_tour.asp . Additionally, I was thinking about the tour Highland Lochs, Glens & Whisky Day Tour from Edunburgh in order to visit a distillerie also instead of St Andrews tour but i really will be glad to hear your opinion. Thank you in advance.
