2 Questions re Internet Access + Leaving Tour a Little Early

I will need access to the internet at least once or twice while on the 5 day/4 nights Mull, Iona & Skye Tour. I requested either B&B with ensuite or 3* hotels. Is there likely to be wifi? Or should I go upmarket? Or buy a UK data SIM/dongle to use?
2) The Tour does not arrive back in Edinburgh until 7.00pm on the Friday. I am meeting friends in Falkirk that night for a week on a narrowboat 2-9 May. A friend has offered to collect me on the last day somewhere before Edinburgh and is happy to drive to a place suitable to the Tour driver. Is that possible? feasible?
I have emailed info@rabbies.com 5 days ago but have had no reply so I am asking people who have been on Tours before.
I would welcome your advice.

I'm sorry - we did receive your email and replied last week. I've sent the reply again today - it might have gone into your junk mail folder.
To add to what we said in the email - it might make sense for you to get collected by your friend at the Forth Bridge services (about 25 minutes drive from Falkirk) rather than Perth which is almost 1 hours drive - although the Perth pickup would get you to Falkirk earlier. Whatever you decide please discuss it with your driver/guide while on the tour.
