3 day Isle of skye

I have joined the 3 day Isle of skye at the beginning of January with the Arron as the tour guide.
The whole trip was wonderful, not only that I can enjoy the gorgeous scenery of island, but also have a great taste of the Scottish humour!!!
Maybe I am from HK, as we all known to be 'introversion', Arron has done a great job in cheering up the whole group with his Scottish accent, funny stories, and practical jokes:)
And for the things to see, we are so lucky to embrace with the sunny weather which is extremely rare in the winter! The sea, hill, cliff are breathtaking in the sun. But it's still so windy, so do have a thick jacket with u...
For the portree, it's a lovely little town where cheap and nice pub can be found. The house that we are staying is fantastic! The host lady is so kind and funny. But I think it's better to visit there in summer as most shops and restaurants are closed for the season:(
Overall, the trip is great, but I think it will be even better in summer with longer daytime and warmer weather;) Rabbies is a good choice, as u don't need to worry about the transportation which is crucial to the island visit. |
