I took the Speyside whisky tour last year, and enjoyed it so much that I decided to take another - to Islay. As a Scot, it is probably to my shame that I had never been before, so it was a chance to put that right, and indulge in some serious whisky tasting.
Our driver/guide was Alf, who ran the tour perfectly, organising distillery visits (and giving us plenty of time at these), as well as taking us to places of interest, with plenty of photo opportunities. The only thing he had no control over was the weather, but hey - its Scotland. He was extremely knowledgeable and kept us amused with his tales.
Bowmore cottages were lovely - spacious and comfortable. All in all, another excellent tour.

We have plenty of locals join us on tour to see a little more of their homeland so I dont think theres any shame involved at all! Very pleased youve enjoyed two tours with us now, thank you very much for your kind words Phil
