Ive visited the West Highlands in the summer but wanted to experience it in the winter - mission accomplished! We had everything the Scottish winter had to offer, even sunshine. Our guide for the tour was Barney, very informative and friendly. The driver was Kieran, who was learning the job, Im sure he will be a big success. There were only two other passengers apart from myself, a couple from Lyon, France, making it almost like a private tour. Enjoyed all the stops on the trip, some brilliant scenery with the snow showing off the Highlands in their magnificent best, loved it. Next trip for me will be the 6 Day Outer Hebrides Tour in June - really looking forward to another Rabbies Tour!
How many hours a day were you in the van versus able to walk around outside and see stuff? joe p
Joe Park - plenty of stops, the tour guide knew the best places for photo opportunities. Extended stops at Doune Castle and Inveraray, photo/toilet stops in between. Youre not on the bus for very long apart from the journey home, Loch Lomond to Ed. Brian ORourke
ps - dont know where the Park bit came from! Brian ORourke
